Refund policy
Overview
We want you to have a smooth and confident shopping experience with Outabout. To ensure fairness and quality control, we offer exchanges and returns under the guidelines mentioned below.
Returns

Prepaid Orders (Razorpay / UPI / Cards)
- Eligible for returns within 7 days of delivery.
- Refund is processed to the original payment method once the product is received and inspected.
- A ₹100 return processing fee is deducted from the refund amount.

COD Orders
- COD orders are eligible for return but refunded as store credit.
- A ₹150 COD return fee applies to cover pickup + processing.
- Store credit is issued once the returned item passes quality check.
Exchanges

Size Exchange
- You may request a size exchange within 7 days of delivery.
- Exchange is subject to stock availability.
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned with all original tags and packaging.
- Exchange shipping is covered by us.
- Defective / Wrong Item

- If you receive a defective or incorrect product, we will exchange it at no extra cost.
- Verification may be required through photos/videos.
Return/Exchange request process

To initiate a return/exchange request, customers must follow the steps below:
- Click the My Account icon on the home page.
- Navigate to Orders and select the relevant order.
- Click on the Request a Return/Exchange button.
- Submit the request.
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
- If your product is damaged or defective, please mention it clearly and attach photos when requested. The exchange will be initiated after proper verification of the request.
- Shipping costs for exchanges will be covered by the company.
Non-Returnable Items
Return/exchange will not be accepted if:
- Product is worn, washed, or damaged by the customer
- Tags/packaging are missing
- Request is raised after the return/exchange window
- Item was bought on final sale/clearance
